This dump truck was formerly owned by and used at Wise Potato Chip factory in Berwick, PA. When my father acquired it, it was painted this dorky white and blue color. He digs graves as a sidejob and used this dump truck for that purpose. It is great in the cemetery because it has a rear single wheel axle, so it fits between the rows. It also has a power angle plow and a 350 ci engine. This past summer, I decided to fix it up since I was bored. It started out as just cleaning out the interior a little, but spread to basically redoing the interior. Then I figured why not fix the outside (especially the numerous dents caused by sideswiping tombstones).
This is the before pic of the truck. Notice the dents in the door.
This is the after pic. I pulled the dents, did the body filler work and painted it with high quality spray can stuff. I also did the pinstripe and wheels.
Before pic of the interior. You can't see it, but you can't even tell the transmission hump is white due to the grease and dirt.
An after pic. I repainted most of the metal of the dash, replaced the dash, seat cover, etc.
